“From the earliest days in my career when I worked in a cubicle, I recognized that my colleagues and I could not sit back and expect “those guys” (a gender-neutral term for the bosses) to do what needed to be done. All of us had a stake in affecting the change we wanted to see. This attitude applies in all spheres — personal, professional, social, political. We cannot sit back and wait for “those guys” to solve our problems. Each of us must declare ‘I am those guys!’ and get to work!”
This website is inspired by and based on Harry Kraemer, Jr.’s concept of “those guys,” which emphasizes personal responsibility and ownership in addressing leadership challenges. Here you can find resources to help you realize your own potential to lead with values and make a positive impact.
